OAK BROOK, Ill. -- Some McDonald’s workers are going to get pay raises and paid time off.
McDonald’s will raise wages by $1 more than the local minimum wage.
Workers can earn vacation time once they've worked there for a year.
This is only for the 90,000 workers at the locations that the Oak Brook based company owns.
That's about 10 percent of all McDonald’s across the country.
Wages at those locations are expected to be more than ten dollars an hour by the end of next year.
