Bo Jackson gives history lesson, resume to White Sox’s son: Video

GLENDALE, AZ. — “I played for the Kansas City Royals. But your dad was about your age when I played there.”

And so begins the history lesson taught by one very patient Bo Jackson to one very eager and polite Drake.

Drake, whose dad is White Sox Adam LaRoche, was at spring training along with his father and Bo Jackson, who is was with the team as a special spring training instructor, according to

Bo Jackson proceeds to give young Drake his resume, including the line, “You ever hear of the Heisman Trophy?”

“I’m the only player to ever make it to the Pro Bowl in football and the All-Star game in baseball,” with each tap of Drake’s cap, Bo lists another accomplishment.

For his part, Drake seems duly impressed but keeps his cool.
