CHICAGO --The candidates for Chicago mayor returned to the neighborhoods Friday, one day after a heated, televised debate.

Challenger Jesus "Chuy" Garcia was on the West Side Friday morning picking up the endorsement of the Chicago Principals and Administrators Association. Later, he appeared at a West Side church with Rev Jesse Jackson.

On the other side of town, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, along with Congressman Bobby Rush and CTA President Forest Claypool, announced the expansion of the CTA'S Second Chance program which puts ex-offenders and others back to work.

Emanuel defended himself against Garcia's claims that he's giving business to big companies that back his campaign.

Garcia and Emanuel have one more broadcast debate scheduled before the April 7 runoff election.

That debate is set for Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

If you support the 1% group, vote for Rahm. If you support most of the citizens and hate the money grab red light camera scams that don’t improve safety , vote for Chuy.
