Chicago Tribune columnist on the flak she got for her uncombed hair

Chicago Tribune columnist, Heidi Stevens, had to deal with a lot of haters who didn't like her uncombed hair.

She never expected that her hairdo would cause such a strong response.

Stevens wrote about it in her recent column "Balancing Act" and joined WGN Morning News to talk about it.

    I like messy hair…even better when short and sassy…….todays dull style long ,parted in the middle and hanging
    straight down is dullsville.

    I am from the generation of liking Hair that looks Neat. However, I REALLY LIKE Heidi Stevens Hairdo. It is very attractive on her and It doesn’t look messy but very stylish! That being said, If I didn’t like it I would keep my opinion to myself and not be so insenitive and tacky. Thanks for letting me have my say. Genny Rinaldi-Culhane
