2 arrested after robbery at 7-Eleven on North Side

CHICAGO -- Two people were taken into custody when police say they saw them trying to rob a 7-Eleven.

Investigators hope to answer the question: Was this robbery related to two others this morning?

Police say officers saw the suspects robbing the 7-Eleven at Grand and Halsted.

One worker was hit with a gun. Another victim was sliced with a box cutter.

The suspects were arrested after their getaway car crashed at Grand and Cortland.

Police are still looking for two others.

Charges have not been filed yet.

Earlier there was a robbery at a Shell gas station, at Diversey and Lincoln.

There was also an attempted robbery at another 7-Eleven.

Police have not said if all the cases are connected.
