Lollapalooza 2015 lineup features Paul McCartney, Sam Smith

CHICAGO -- Three-day and single-day passes for Lollapalooza are sold out. But, V.I.P. and Platinum passes are still available.

The single-day passes went on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. for $110. The three-day passes went on sale Tuesday morning and sold out.

Paul McCartney will play on the opening night of the festival on Friday, July 31.

Other headliners include Metallica, Sam Smith, Florence and the Machine and Alabama Shakes.


The festival is in Grant Park from July 31 to August 2.

    Why is Sam Smith on this list? He’s not Lollapalooza material. Goodnight! He’s more RNB then rock or any other genre they have in this festival. Why in the heck they put him on the list. I can see Paul McCartney but Sam Smith? That guy is terrible. He’s definitely gonna stick out like a sore thumb.
