Not only can drones fly, but if all goes well for a South Korean robotics lab, soon they will be climbing buildings.
This drone is designed to be able to scale the sides of buildings with the potential to wash windows and inspect infrastructure.
According to Popular Science, there are already robots designed to scale buildings, but the drone has the potential to outperform.
“When a drone falls, it can usually catch itself in mid-air and fly back to where it belongs,” Popular Science said.
In unrelated drone news, Amazon’s drones were recently approved for testing by the FAA.
We knew that drones could fly, but soon they’ll be climbing. What’s next?
