Police locate 3 girls missing from SW Side

CHICAGO -- Police say they have found three girls who went missing from the southwest side on Friday.

The girls had previously gone missing, and police believe all three girls to be together, even though they disappeared from two different neighborhoods.

The girls missing were identified as Aviana Gomez, 15; Jesenia Laboy, 12; and Jacelle Laboy. 15.


The girls all went missing Friday. Gomez was last seen on the 6400 block of South Long. She is 5 feet 6 inches, and was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket with blue jeans and brown shoes with white fur.

The two Laboy girls were last seen in the area of Archer and Central. Jesenia is 5 feet 3 inches, and the right side of her head is closely shaved with designs engraved in her hair. Jacelle is 5 feet 1 inches and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white shirt with the word “Boss” on the front.

Police haven't yet released details on where the girls were found.
