1 dead, 2 injured in Antioch house fire

ANTIOCH, Ill. -- One person is dead and two others were injured in a house fire in the northern suburb of Antioch.

The fire broke out just after 10 a.m.

Firefighters responded and pulled one man from the house.

The 76-year-old man suffered cardiac arrest and died.

Another victim, a 74-year-old woman, was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. She's in serious condition.

A firefighter was also hurt during the rescue.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the blaze.
