ENGLEWOOD, Flor. — This is not your typical hazard on a golf course.

A giant alligator was spotted on the green at the Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, Florida.

The golf course manager says this shouldn’t be a surprise since the course is surrounded by swamp land.

A post on Myakka Pines Golf Club’s Facebook page reads: “Lots of people think the pic is Photoshopped…Nope! We just grow ’em big in these parts!”

The gator was photographed by golfers, Dick Huber and Bill Susie, as it trudged across the golf course from one pond to the other.
