JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — A television reporter in South Africa was mugged as he prepared for a live report — and it was all caught on camera.

According to Q13, South Africa Broadcasting Corporation journalist Vuyo Mvoko was covering the arrival of Zambian President Edgar Lungu at a hospital when the crime occurred.

SABC crew members recorded the incident on camera, and later posted it to YouTube.

The video currently has more than 1 million views.

The clip shows the journalist initially ignore a group of men when they approach him, but becomes increasingly more nervous as he suspects what they’re about to do.

A scuffle breaks out, and he says into his microphone, “Hey, we’re being mugged.”

One of the men is then seen holding up something that appears to be cash.

Mvoko later returned to the studio where he described the incident. SABC also uploaded that segment to YouTube.

Mvoko was apparently unharmed. He later tweeted, “I’m Safe & sound.”
