NAPERVILLE, Ill — A DuPage County jury found a man guilty of murder in the killing of a teacher at a Naperville bar.

Daniel Olaska was charged with the murder of Shaun Wild at Frankie’s Blue Room in 2012.

Olaska was found guilty of two counts of murder.  He was found not guilty in the lesser charges of attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Wild was stabbed to death when he tried to break up a fight.

Wild taught 2nd grade at Spring Brook Elementary in Naperville.

Defense lawyers say Olaska stabbed Wild in self-defense.

WGN has an exclusive. Article says guilty of two counts of murder, yet one person died. I expect more from an “Emmy-winning” journalist.
