Northwestern confident heading into Big Ten Tournament

(EVANSTON, Ill.) --The Northwestern Wildcats were in last place in the Big Ten four weeks ago. A 5-2 record to finish the season propelled the Cats into 10th place and avoiding the opening round game of this weeks Big Ten Tournament for the first time in program history. The jump sets up a first round matchup wih seventh seed Indiana, a team squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Northwestern beat Indiana in Evanston two weeks ago, and has won three straight over the Hoosiers.
