MOSCOW- A Moscow city government TV station says a surveillance camera caught the murder of a key Russian opposition leader.
The tv station says these images come from a surveillance camera pointed at the bridge where opposition leader Boris Nemitsov was gunned down last week.
You have to look carefully but the station reports there are two people walking along the bridge. They are believed to be Nemitsov and his female companion.
They are briefly blocked by a snow plow and another car.
Then moments later one person is left standing, and another is seen running into a car which speeds off.
Russian president Vladimir Putin has officially condemned the killing and has vowed to find those responsible.
Nemitsov was an outspoken critic of Putin and his policies.
The Russian opposition is rallying in Moscow today as a memorial to his legacy.
Thousands of protesters are expected to march to bridge to pay their respects.
