Bulls fall to Clippers, lose Jimmy Butler to injury

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls, already without point guard Derrick Rose, lost another star during the team's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday at the United Center.

The Clippers defeated the Bulls, 96-86. Chicago's Jimmy Butler left the game after suffering a sprained elbow, the team announced. He did not return.

Los Angeles point guard Chris Paul scored 28 points and tallied 12 assists in the Clippers' victory. Nikola Mirotic led all Bulls scorers with 29 points.

Chicago's next game will be Tuesday, when they'll host the Washington Wizards.
