ROCHESTER, Minn. – A blind man from Minnesota has been given a chance to see again.

The cameras were rolling as Allen Zderad saw his wife for the first time in ten years.

The reason for his sight, are those black glasses he’s wearing and an implant.

Wires from the implant connect to the glasses, and a camera that’s attached.

The implant sends images directly to his optic nerve.

Now he can see outlines of objects and people.   But the best part is being able to see his wife, kids and ten grandchildren.
