Susan's Tips:

Keep bras and underwear that you use frequently and fits well.  But toss ones that are greying, sagging, baggy or stretched.  Keep all odd socks that got separated in the dryer (for cleaning jewelry or household tasks). Keep the worn bathing suit for 'spa' visit or 'public pool' so you don’t ruin your new one with a high chlorine exposure.

Keep pants that you wear at least once every season. Toss if you have not worn the pants or jeans for a whole year.

Liquid base/foundation make up can be kept up to 4-6 months and eye shadow and powder blush and bronzer up to 9.  Nail polish can be kept. Keep cream-based products, wipe with alcohol. Pencils can be kept if sharpened. But if you're having breakouts toss the compacts, and wash brushes every change of season. Check date on SPF products.
