First Cook County criminal trial with courtroom cameras underway

CHICAGO -- Cook County’s first criminal trial with courtroom cameras began Wednesday afternoon.

Timothy Jones is charged with murder, for leading police on what proved to be a fatal high-speed chase.

Jacqueline Reynolds died two years ago, when a police SUV that was chasing Jones, crashed into her car.

Jones was wanted for armed robbery at an apartment at 78th and Ellis.

Reynolds' family is suing the police department for wrongful death.
