Harry Osterman

Harry Osterman is running uncontested for Chicago’s 48th Ward. Before serving as alderman, Osterman represented the 14th District in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2000 to 2011. Some highlights from his work in the 48th Ward include leading the fight to close the gun show loophole, renovating the Broadway Armory and securing grants for more security cameras near CTA stops and CeaseFire violence intervention. Most recently, Osterman worked to pass the civil union legislation.
