Patrick J. O’Connor


Patrick J. O’Connor is the incumbent alderman of Chicago’s 40th Ward. O’Connor earned his bachelor and law degrees from Loyola University Chicago and has served as the 40th Ward Alderman since 1983. O’Connor is focused on preserving green space, improving local schools and keeping the neighborhood safe.


Dianne Daleiden


Dianne Daleiden is the challenger for alderman in Chicago’s 40th Ward. Daleiden attended DePaul University and has been teaching math and science in Chicago Public Schools since 2005. Daleiden is focused on maintaining strong and safe public schools, while restoring the public’s trust and investing in neighborhoods.
