Scott Waguespack


Alderman Scott Waguespack lives in Bucktown and his family has called Wicker Park-Bucktown their home for many generations. Previous to becoming alderman, Scott worked as the city administrator and chief of staff to the mayor of Berwyn. He has served as 32nd Ward alderman since 2007 and is a member of the City Council’s Progressive Caucus. Scott says he is focused on adding to the ward’s business districts, improving education and keeping the neighborhood safe for residents.


Elise Doody-Jones


Elise Doody-Jones is a resident of Logan Square and is the former treasurer of the 1st Ward First Organization. She Also ran a day care business, but closed that venture to become a candidate. In 2013, Elise was selected to attend the Illinois Women’s Institute for Leadership. Though she does not live in the 32nd Ward, Elise says she is prepared to move there if elected. She says her goal is to bring quality of life improvements and services to all in the 32nd Ward.
