Toni L. Foulkes


Toni Foulkes is currently the alderman of the city’s 15th Ward, who is now running in the 16th Ward due to redistricting. She has been a Chicago Alderman since 2007 and lives on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Foulkes earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Merchandising from American Intercontinental University. Foulkes considers public safety her No. 1 priority, according to her online campaign profiles. She has also aligned herself with a variety of social issues and was part of a push to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour.

Stephanie Coleman


Stephanie Coleman is a lifelong 16th Ward resident and the daughter of retired Alderman Shirley A. Coleman. She attended Emmanuel Christian School and Chicago Military Academy in Bronzeville.  Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris University and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Spertus Jewish Institute. She also is involved in community service and outreach projects such as The Open Book Literacy Program and the Women’s Empowerment Group.
