A Winnebago man has been charged with sexually abusing five children at the home day care run by his wife.

51-year-old David Seaton faces 11 counts of aggravated criminal sex abuse and one count of predatory criminal sexual assault.

Prosecutors say the children were as young as 3-years-old.

Seaton’s wife is not suspected of criminal activity and was allowed to keep her daycare center open under a DCFS safety plan.
