Stacy Peterson’s sister: Drew’s attempt to hire hitman a `crazy act`

BOILINGBROOK, Ill -- Convicted murdered Drew Peterson was charged Monday and accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill the Will County State’s Attorney who was the lead prosecutor in Peterson’s 2012 murder trial.

Peterson is in prison convicted of killing his second wife Kathleen Savio. He was also a suspect in the case of his missing wife Stacey.

Cassandra Cales, Stacy Peterson's sister says she didn't think there was anything that Drew Peterson could do that could surprise her -- and then came today.

“It's quite shocking to see him pull such a crazy act,” Cales said. “You don't do that in prison.”

Cales says should Drew Peterson go to trial.
