A family in Oklahoma made a startling discovery inside their barn last month – a real human skeleton.

KFSM reports authorities were called to the LeFlore County property to examine remains and the skeleton was sent to a medical examiner for identification.

Authorities say the skeleton is around 100 years old.

The original owner of the property told authorities the skeleton was one of two he originally located in a run-down building that once belonged to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The Odd Fellows lodge closed in the 1960’s, and they are who had the skeletons originally.

One skeleton was loaned out for Halloween prank and never returned.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows is a fraternal organization focuses on charitable works that was active in LeFlore County in the early 1900s.

Fused with wires, the skeleton already had an autopsy performed on it, authorities said.
