City of Chicago crews are tackling on Wednesday the giant piles of snow, and messy side streets.

The city has unleashed around 650 pieces of heavy equipment to remove all of the snow. About 200 of those pieces are on lease, half of which are dump trucks, front-loaders, and backhoes.

As always, the alley's won't be fully cleared. An alley typically gets a single pass with a small plow.

The street from your video looks clear, the plow has been down and created the path to travel down the street. It’s up to the individual to dig out their car. If people expect the city to dig out the snow around the cars, they are crazy.
