Emergency crews respond to medical emergency at O’Hare Airport

CHICAGO -- Emergency crews responded to O'Hare Airport Tuesday after a report of a medical emergency, the Chicago Fire Department says.

United flight #1218, which was bound for Denver, returned to the airport after about an hour in the air.

According to initial reports, an unknown number of passengers complained of nausea and ear pain. They were treated and released at the airport.

According to the United website, the flight is set to depart again Tuesday afternoon.
