Man who shoveled Boston Marathon finish line during blizzard identified

BOSTON – A hotel guest posted a picture of someone shoveling the Boston Marathon finish line on Tuesday.

The Boston Police Department asked people on Twitter to help identify the person in the photo.

The kind man was identified as 25-year-old bartender Chris Laudani.


Chris Laudani, 25

He says it’s his favorite spot in the city, and he wanted to be able to see the finish line when he walks by.

Laudani’s being praised by people who see it as a sacred spot after the bombings.
