Man arrested after attack at Delnor Hospital in Geneva

GENEVA, Ill. — A man has been arrested for an attack that caused a lockdown at a hospital in Geneva.

Justin Patzer was taken into custody Tuesday night in Hammond, Indiana.

Police say Patzer had a knife when he tried to choke a relative at Delnor Hospital Tuesday.

The hospital and two nearby schools were placed on lockdown while police searched for him.

He is now facing several felony charges and is scheduled to appear in court in Crown Point later today.
