FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said during an impromptu press conference Saturday that his team “followed rules to the letter” regarding recent controversy over whether the Patriots deliberately deflated footballs during the AFC Championship game.

“At no time was there any intent whatsoever to try to compromise the integrity of the game or to gain an advantage,” Belichick said.

During a surprise address Saturday afternoon, Belichick discussed the Patriots’ internal findings regarding the process by which the team prepares footballs before a game, and said the Patriots followed every rule.

Belichick’s conference came the day after the NFL announced it has not yet come to any conclusions on how the Patriots used under-inflated footballs during their AFC Championship victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Patriots will meet the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl Feb. 1.

Every past victory of every Patriot player and every other team coached by Bill Belichick needs to be asterisked *possible unsportmanship play suspected. When it occurs and is caught during a game the team is given a penalty, for just one player one infraction. This flaunting of rules, cannot stand without a team penalty.

The problem with this man is he is suffering from delusions. He really believes he did nothing wrong. Unfortunately for you Mr. Belicheat the general public is not as stupid as you think. Same for you Mr. Brady…aka Capitan Crybaby. But like the Ray Rice fiasco the love of football comes before the integrity of the game.
