LOS ANGELES — The film “American Sniper” took in more than $105 million at the box office this weekend.
If you saw it, maybe you noticed Bradley Cooper’s fake baby.
Cooper had to rock it back and forth to make it appear more real. But film insiders know director Clint Eastwood doesn’t like multiple takes, and well, a baby might make that more difficult.
According to WJW, “American Sniper” screenwriter and executive producer Jason Hall explained why the baby was fake via Twitter: “Hate to ruin the fun but real baby #1 showed up with a fever. Real baby #2 was no show. (Clint voice) Gimme the doll, kid.”
Reaction about the fake baby among moviegoers was mixed:
So far, no comment from Warner Brothers on the fake baby.
