GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. -- And the winner is … well, we still don’t know.
But lottery officials say the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was bought at the Bucky’s mobile gas station at the corner of North Avenue and Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
It has people dreaming of what they would do with all that money.
The winning numbers, 26, 32, 44, 58 and 45 -- plus the Mega Ball of 11 – were drawn Friday night, and for those wondering: Yes, it was a “Quick Pick,” meaning the computer picked the six lucky numbers.
The jackpot has a cash value of $177 million -- or $126.11 million after taxes. It’s the largest prize in Illinois lottery history, thanks in part because no one had won the grand prize for Mega since November. And Bucky’s, the place where the winning ticket was sold, will get $500,000.
Those who didn't win the mega have another shot at becoming a millionaire: Wednesday night's Powerball drawing is $208 million.
