A child care provider has been arrested and charged after he was accused of molesting two three-year-old girls in his care.

Prosecutors say Jian Feng, who has a degree in early childhood education, molested the girls at a private child-care facility on multiple occasions.

Feng told police his brain made him do it.

Kelly Ohde, a spokeswoman for Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago, where the man worked, said in a statement to WGN, “An allegation was made against an employee at our Near South Side Child Development Center.  The employee was removed from the location and will have no contact with the children at Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago.”

She added, “We conduct our background checks in strict conformity with federal, state and local guidelines. In addition, we perform our own screenings on an ongoing basis.  We are continuing to cooperate with authorities.”

Feng is being charged with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and is due back in court on Tuesday.
