23-year-old killed in Lawndale shooting

A 23-year-old was pronounced dead after being shot in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood Saturday.

Police say the shooting occurred in the 1200 block of South Pulaski Road.

A gray SUV with bullet holes in the driver’s side door and window was found at the scene.

The driver, who was the shooting victim, crashed into a small tree while driving in the wrong direction on a one-way street.

The victim has not been identified. No one is yet in custody.
