CHICAGO — A terror suspect is scheduled to appear in federal court in Chicago Thursday.

Abdella Ahmad Tounisi of Aurora has pleaded not guilty to attempting to provide material support to the Al-Qaeda fighters in Syria.

His attorney has argued he was an immature 18-year-old when he was arrested at O’Hare Airport in 2013. He was trying to board a plane bound for Turkey.

The judge refused to release Tounisi when he appeared in court in November while awaiting trial.

No trial date’s been set.
