12th cold-related death in Cook County

Cook County has recorded its 12th cold-related death of the season.

The body of Ronald Turner, 62,  was found Saturday,  in a vacant building in the 0 -100 block of 110th Place on Chicago's Far South Side.
Investigators believe Turner was homeless.
The medical examiner listed his cause of death as heart disease and cold exposure.

At least 11 other people have died of cold-related causes in Cook County since early October.
