Robert Blagojevich says federal prosecutors tried to use him as a pawn in their pursuit of his brother for trying to sell president Obama’s vacant Senate seat.
Robert Blagojevich has a new book coming out next year. The Associated Press got an early look at it.
In the book, he says the feds tried to get him to talk his brother, Rod, into pleading guilty.
He says that refusing cost him his reputation, nearly a million dollars in legal bills and a split with his brother that still has not been repaired.
He says Rod refused to see him when he went to visit him in prison a couple of years ago.
