Former Alderman Bernard Stone laid to rest today

A long-time Chicago alderman will be laid to rest today.

Bernard Stone died at Skokie Hospital Monday, two days after he fell.

Stone was 87-years-old.

He represented West Rogers Park for almost four decades.

Funeral services begin at noon, at Chicago Jewish funerals’ Skokie Chapel.
