Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Group computer stolen, compromises hundreds of patients

This time, as many as 2,800 patients from the Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Group could be affected.

Hospital officials say a laptop computer was stolen in October, containing patients' health information.

It's unclear why the public wasn't notified sooner.

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Group says letters are now being sent to those patients affected.
