2 firefighters injured battling fire in south suburban Robbins

A fire inside of a vacant building in south suburban Robbins left two fire fighters injured overnight.

It happened around midnight near 137th and Lawndale.

One firefighter was seriously injured but he is expected to survive.

Another firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
