Friends and relatives gathered for a public viewing for a slain teenager Friday night.

15-year-old Demario Bailey was shot and killed in front of his twin brother just days before their 16th birthday. The shooting happened during an attempted robbery, Saturday afternoon at 63rd and State.

Four teenagers are now facing charges.

A crowd of people packed Calahan Funeral Home at 70th and Halsted to pay their respects and sign message boards. Another visitation will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. before the funeral at New Covenant M.B. Church at 754 E. 77th St.

An online fund has raised nearly $30,000 to cover funeral expenses and support a scholarship for Demario's twin brother.
