Security line at Midway reportedly stretches back a mile

Midway Airport saw a near constant coming and going of planes, on one of the busiest travel days of the year.

But, earlier in the day, there was a stoppage on the ground inside the airport, when security lines stretched back as far as a mile.

Thousands of travelers converged on the checkpoint as TSA agents struggled to keep up.

Either by plane, train or automobile 46 million Americans were expected to travel 50-miles or more this Thanksgiving holiday according to AAA. That's the highest number since 2007.

As of mid-afternoon more than 1,800 US Flights were delayed and more than 150 were canceled, according to but very few of them in Chicago.

    Is there no fact check done on ‘news’ anymore……..can no one reliably use google earth ?
    from the station to the end of security clearly shows (and feels) to be at most 1/4 mile,
    and it is impossible to believe any ‘line’ more than 0.1 mile…….you were punked
