* The Kings beat the Wild, 4-0, at Xcel Energy Center on Wednesday night, finishing up their latest road trip with a mark of 1-1-1. Los Angeles has recorded three shutouts in 2014-15 – tied for most of any Western Conference club.

* This will be the first of three meetings between these two clubs in 2014-15. The Blackhawks swept the season series from the Kings in 2013-14, winning the three games by a combined score of 9-4.
* Dustin Brown and Mike Richards both netted their fourth goals of the season in Wednesday’s victory, giving the Kings eight skaters with 4+ markers overall in 2014-15 – tied with Vancouver for second most in the Western Conference (Calgary has 10). Neither Brown nor Richards lit the lamp in three games vs. Chicago last season.
* The Blackhawks are finishing up their West Coast swing Saturday night, after taking on the Ducks at Honda Center Friday afternoon. Chicago is 1-2-0 in the second of back-to-back tilts this season.
