Blackhawks Game Notes For Friday @ Anaheim

* The Blackhawks are seeking back-to-back wins in Anaheim for the first time since the 1995-96 season. In the last meeting at Honda Center, Chicago defeated Anaheim 2-0 behind a 29-save shutout by Corey Crawford.

*The Blackhawks will try to improve to 4-1 on their annual circus road trip. The trip ends tomorrow in Los Angeles against the Kings. The circus trip has proved successful for them in years past. They went 6-1 on the trip last season.

* The Ducks have picked up at least one point in 11 of their past 12 contests (6-1-5). This helped them to a tie with Montreal for the NHL lead in points earned with 33.

*Frederik Andersen’s last four starts have been in games decided by one goal and he has a 3-0-1 record with a 2.17 GAA and .917 save percentage in those games.

* Sami Vatanen has either scored or assisted in 12 of the Ducks’ 14 power play goals this season. The 85.7 percentage is the highest in the NHL for a defensemen.

* Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks with seven points and Jonathan Toews leads in goals with three during the first four games of their current road trip.
