The lion statues outside the Art Institute of Chicago are getting into the holiday spirit.

The annual wreath ceremony took place Friday morning.   Many visitors watched as the lions were unveiled and wreaths were placed on their manes.

The children provided the smiles and the Art Institute provided the hot chocolate.

The 23rd annual Wreathing of the Lions at the Art Institute included a performance by the Apollo Chorus.
