5 injured in separate Thanksgiving Day shootings in Chicago

At least five people were shot on Chicago’s streets on Thanksgiving Day.

A 50-year-old man was shot in the leg on West Wilcox Street in West Garfield Park.

Another man, 24 years old, was shot in the hand in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood by two men who emerged from a gangway.

Other shootings happened in Austin, South Shore and Englewood.

So far, there have been no deaths.
