Ebola vaccine tests ‘promising’

The first human tests of the new experimental Ebola vaccine are said to be promising.

20 volunteers were given the vaccine in September.

According to the National Institutes of Health, all 20 developed the antibodies they needed to fight Ebola; about half developed immune cells; and there were no serious side effects.

The vaccine is still months away from widespread field testing.
