Looking for a family outing this Thanksgiving weekend? Grab your crew and head to Symphony Center for “Pixar in Concert.” The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is performing songs from all 14 Pixar films, including the Toy Story trilogy, Up and Monsters University.

And it’s not just for your auditory enjoyment – as you listen to the familiar scores, watch impressive visual clips featuring your favorite Pixar characters. Catch this special concert this weekend only, with performances on Nov. 28-30.

“Pixar in Concert” is part of the CSO at the Movies series. This spring the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will also provide live musical accompaniment to the science fiction classic, 2001: A Space Odyssey, as well as the silent film masterpiece, Metropolis.

Love the symphony? Send us your CSO photos using the red button below! They could be featured in a future Urban Agenda post. Now get out and enjoy Chicago!
