A Christmas tree in Pennsylvania has hit a raw nerve.
Residents the town of Reading say the tree is lacking.
Some of its branches have fallen to the ground as if they've already given up the fight.
The tree was apparently a last-minute stand-in taken from a city park.
The city had planned to get the tree from a farm, but the owner wouldn’t let the crews drive on the wet ground when they went to pick it up, so they found one at a city park.
A city council member is leading the charge to replace the tree and looking to raise $5,000 to cover expenses for a new tree.
