U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth

CongresswomanTammy Duckworth is a new mom.

She gave birth to a baby girl named Abigail Tuesday.

It is the first child for the 46-year-old Duckworth and her husband Bryan.

Because of her age and injuries as an Iraq War veteran, Duckworth’s pregnancy was considered high-risk.

Her office released a statement Thursday saying the new mom and dad are thrilled about their new addition.

Just think, Duckworth will be 64 when Abby is graduating from high school. And, 68 when she graduates from college. Makes you proud, does it Duckworth? Do people even do the math when they decide to do something like this?

Wow, maybe you think she should have gotten pregnant before her injuries healed…she’ll be 64 most likely anyway. So what’s your point? Are you with the mommy age patrol? I congratulate her on her new baby.
